主要从事医学类（研究生、八年制、七年制、五年制各专业和国际留学生）生物化学理论与生化实验教学及人类重要病原生物高特异性分子诊断与相关疾病的治疗研究。主编全国高等医学院校规划教材1部，参编全国高等医药院校生物化学教材和参考书十余部（其中英文版教材2部）。参与省级、校级教改课题4项，主持校级教改课题1项，获校级教学质量优秀奖2次，校级教学成果奖1次。参与国家、省自然科学基金项目7项，申请国家实用新型专利2项，授权1项，发表教学、科研论文四十余篇。
